Old dress

I got some of my stuff out of storage. I only found one dress, and I washed it last night. I think it needs to be reworked a little, but here's some crappy pictures anyway.







I purchased the fabric in January 2000, intending to use it for my prom dress. I didn't even start working on the dress until November 2001, and I finished the same month.

I love the gray fabric, and the lace panel on the front is an interesting idea, but personally, I might have done it as more of a pointed arch than as a square window.

Yeah, I don't really like that part of it so much. I think my laziness may have been an advantage though; I'm pretty sure I didn't cut all of the grey fabric when I attached the lace. When I get around to modifying the dress, the lace portion should be easy to change.

I absolutely love the lace! It's a really cute dress, but as has already been said, I would probably have done the lace as a triangle.
